I thoroughly enjoyed Hideaway Hill. It is a well crafted romance with truly believable characters, and a story line that keeps you guessing. Veronica has endured some difficult situations, but, when she makes her way back to her hometown, new fiance, Arthur, in tow, and runs into her ex boyfriend, Blake, sparks start to fly. Despite her best efforts, Veronica cannot deny that she still has feelings for Blake, and Blake feels exactly the same way. Arthur, though, harbors some deep, dark secrets, and a rage that puts Veronica right in the path of danger, and Blake soon finds himself confronting his and Veronica's past, and desperately trying to save their future. Beautifully written, Elle hit a slam dunk with this one.Product details

Hideaway Hill has all the elements of an enthralling read – young budding romance, heart-rending tragedy, and unsolved murder with a satisfying plot resolution. I completely understand the heroine and her choices in life. The hero is a dream-come-true for any woman. I was hoping for a happy-ending and wasn’t disappointed.
Elle manages to hook the reader into the story right from the beginning and keeps them absorbed until the very end. A great read with many unexpected twists and turns and most importantly a happy ending. It didn't take me long to read this book because I couldn't put it down and I stayed up late into the night so that I could finish reading it.
You can tell that Elle has put a lot of work into this story and she has made sure that everything she has written is there for a reason and links back to it at later parts in the novel. Everything from the characters to the story line is well written, believable and easy to relate to.
I'd recommend this book to anyone who loves a good romance book with a happy ending.

Great love story with a little humor, a dash of adventure, some tragedy and best of all a happy ending! Enjoyable, easy read. Perfect for an afternoon of relaxation.
I loved the story line and was taken in immediately by the two main characters--Veronica and Blake. There was plenty of tension in their relationship from the very beginning of their accidental meeting, and that tension carried throughout most of the book. I was cheering for them to get back together from the moment Veronica moved back to Surpatch. Good job and I hope Elle Rose comes out with a new book soon.
Who doesn't love a good romance novel? I know I do. I found this book to be very readable & felt transported into their story with ease. There always seems to be that "one who got away," and it's always painful to deal with those feelings when they come to the surface again & the characters in this story dealt with their situation in a natural & believable way. Keep the stories coming Elle A Rose!!
I began reading, expecting a typical & predictable romance novel, and nothing of the first few chapters dissuaded that notion. However as the story progressed, and more of the characters' pasts were revealed, a darker complexity crept into the story. I enjoyed the unexpected twists offered by Rose as the story unfolded. I look forward to more from this author.
