Emma Wright was becoming a problem. She was supposed to be a job. An easy job. Get close to her, find evidence that she was selling confidential data to a competitor. Get paid a ton of money. How hard could it be? She was the head of Human Resources at a shipping company, not Mata Hari. This kind of thing was the bread and butter of Sinclair Security. I figured I’d take the meeting and pass the case to one of my guys. Then I got a good look at Emma Wright. Fiery red hair, creamy skin, abundant curves, and clear blue eyes with a wicked glint. She was irresistible. Luscious, soft, and more than a handful in all the right places. The moment I saw her picture, I knew I’d be handling her myself. Sleeping with the suspect wasn’t usually my MO, but in this case, I was prepared to make an exception. Normally, my approach was to get the evidence, give it to the client, close the case, and cash the check. Not with Emma. Getting her into bed wasn’t the hard part. Forget that as romance goes this book has none just jumps straight into the sex which is generic at best. But he basically sets out to screw her so he can gather dirt on her and he is the hero of the story? I get the whole escapist crappy fiction which is why I bought the book but I can't tolerate a story where good sex is a reason to stay with someone who treated you badly. Nope this is a dangerous theme and I wish I could take back my money.Product details

Good book.
I loved this book. Emma was awesome and strong. Thank you so much for such a well written story! Now I am off to buy the next one!!
This book was too long and drawn-out. I wasn't enamoured with the two main characters and their relationship never seemed to progress.
I have read Dylan, Sam, and now Alex. Love them all....now I want to read about Alex brothers. Thank you...
Quite a cap to the trilogy. All three should be read . Ms. Layne weaves quite a tale with each one unique but tied together by the mutual friendship of the Men. Waiting for a book on Evers and Jacob???
This is Emma and Axel's story. Despite getting off to a bumpy start where Axel lied to Emma and turned her over to the enemy, the two of them attempt to work through their issues along with the threats to Emma's safety. I think out of the three in the series, their story is my favorite!
I have read this book at least three times now. I loved the way Axel and Emma met. I loved the drama that was created by Axel's mistake of not believing Emma. The action and suspense were a constant. I am so glad that I have this book in my library to return to for true romance.
